People of all ages can be bullied. Sheridan College, Centre for Elder Research, in collaboration with Elder Abuse Prevention Ontario, conducted a study, Bullying between older adults: What is happening in Ontario?, to better understand bullying between older adults aged 55+ in Ontario.
A new Toolkit was launched, Solutions: Everybody’s Business – the Senior to Senior Anti-Bullying Toolkit, that includes best practices for older adults, frontline staff, and agencies to use in preventing and addressing bullying behaviours between older adults.
